The Pitch Hopper uses a foam pad to adhere to asphalt shingles. The foam pad will eventually wear out, but we have roofing crews that have used the same Pitch Hoppers for over a year. To elongate the life of your Pitch Hopper please center your weight and avoid stepping on the corners and edges.

All three products function exactly the same, with the color being the only difference. The Silver Series and Freedom Series Pitch Hoppers are however designed to absorb less heat than The Original Series Pitch Hoppers, giving you a cooler working surface in warmer climates. The Silver Series and Freedom Series Pitch Hoppers also come with the benefit of greater visibility while operating, making them less likely to be left behind at job site after a long day.

Yes, The Pitch Hopper products do not replace certified fall protection.

We do not recommend using The Pitch Hopper on any shingles with significant granule loss, or on any shingles that are unsafe to walk on.

The Pitch Hopper offers a 14 day refund policy for untouched/unused products. In the event of a domestic return, only the product cost and tax will be refunded (no refunds on the shipping cost). International orders that are sent back to Pitch Hopper USA are only eligible for a refund on the cost of the product. Our products are no longer eligible for a return after the product has been used.
